Theme, Ideas and Subject Matter
What theme will you work have?
My theme: Impressionism/expressionism landscape ( paint/print )
3 IDEAS which are covered by my THEME
Idea 1: Forests around the world
Idea 2: Vietnamese places
Idea 3: Traditional buildings around the world
Idea 1 could have these things as subject matter:
1. Trees
2. Mountains
3. Rivers
Idea 2 could have these things as subject matter:
1. Landscapes ( Golden bridge )
2. Flowers (Mai flowers - the flowers look like blossom but they are yellow)
3. Traditional clothes (a long dress with long sleeves which is called 'Ao Dai' in Vietnam)
Idea 3 could have these things as subject matter :
1. Lakes (Hoan Kiem Lake)
2. Temples, Pagoda (Yingxian wooden pagoda)
3. Historical buildings (The Great Wall of China)

What is my 'why'? Why is your 'why'?
This is my first blog for Art so these ideas I mentioned above are what I want to have in my portfolio. The main point I think it is interesting for myself is Vietnamese places as I live in Vietnam. Also, I want to show someone about them who doesn't know about my country by using this idea to create my artwork. I just want from my ideal posted in my portfolio people can understand Vietnam; I'm glad to share to everyone about some more information about my country.
